Browning X-Bolt—Premium Bolt-Action Hunting Rifle

John Browning’s last pistol design, the Hi-Power, was reintroduced by Browning in 2022 after decades of absence. The modern Hi-Power retains the original’s all-steel construction, single-action trigger, and 13-round 9mm magazine—the highest capacity of any pistol when it was designed in the 1920s. Updates include a improved trigger (the original’s magazine disconnect safety that degraded trigger feel has been removed), improved sights, and an ambidextrous thumb safety. For 1911 fans who want a thinner, higher-capacity single-action alternative, the Hi-Power occupies a unique position. It’s both a collector piece and a genuinely excellent shooting pistol.
