This Proof Research carbon fiber pre-fit barrel drops into a Tikka T3x rifle with no gunsmithing. The 18 inch, Sendero-contour barrel is chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor with a 1:7.5 twist and five-groove rifling, and it is threaded 5/8x24 for a muzzle brake or suppressor. Proof's carbon fiber wrap over a steel liner cuts weight compared with a steel barrel of the same contour while staying stiff and shedding heat.
