The KAK AR-15 bolt carrier group in NP3 is a mil-spec style BCG for 5.56 NATO and 300 Blackout rifles. The M16 full-auto profile carrier is machined from 8620 steel, heat treated, ground and chrome lined. The bolt is machined from a single piece of 9310 steel, shot peened and magnetic particle inspected, and the firing pin is precision-ground, chrome-plated 8740 steel. It uses a one-piece billet extractor, an NP3 cam pin, S7 tool steel ejector and extractor pins, and a 4130 gas key that is hydraulically staked over Grade 8 T25 screws. NP3 is an electroless nickel and fluoropolymer coating that resists wear, corrosion and fouling and reduces friction. It is machined and assembled in house by KAK Industry in Missouri.
