The H&R A2 Carbine is a retro-style AR-15 carbine in 5.56 NATO from Harrington & Richardson, built on forged 7075-T6 aluminum receivers in the M16A2 pattern. Its 14.7" pencil-profile barrel is 4150 chrome moly vanadium steel with a chrome-lined bore, a parkerized finish, a 1:7 twist and an M4 barrel extension. The A2-style flash hider is permanently pinned and welded to the barrel, bringing the barrel to a 16" overall length. A carbine-length gas system runs under a rifle-height front sight base and a six-hole carbine handguard with heat shields. A2 sights, an A2-style pistol grip, a fixed A2-style stock and a mil-spec trigger complete the build.
