The CMMG Dissent is a bufferless AR pistol chambered in 300 Blackout. Its patent-pending Compact Action houses the recoil system inside the upper receiver, so there is no buffer tube behind the lower. A 1913 Picatinny end cap at the rear provides a mounting point for a compatible accessory. The 6.5" barrel is threaded 5/8x24 for a muzzle device or suppressor, and an adjustable gas block tunes the direct-impingement system for supersonic or subsonic loads. A forward side charger can be set up for left- or right-hand use, and the AR-15-style controls are ambidextrous. The receivers wear a Midnight Bronze Cerakote finish, and a 5.5" handguard keeps the package compact. This model is sold in pistol configuration with a 30-round magazine.
