CZ or ‘Česká Zbrojovka’ translated stands for ‘Czech Armory’ and dates back to 1936 for the production of military and civilian arms. During WWII, the plant came under Nazi occupation and was forced to produce and repair military arms. In 1950, the company returned to making both civilian and military arms. CZ is known for producing some of the highest quality firearms at affordable prices. Some of their most popular models include the classic CZ 75, CZ P10, CZ SP01, and the CZ Scorpion.
