CZ P-10

The CZ P-10 series arrived in 2017 and immediately earned respect as one of the finest striker-fired pistols available at any price—a flat-faced trigger that most shooters rate above the Glock’s in both feel and reset, ergonomics that point naturally for a wide range of hand sizes, and CZ’s Czech manufacturing quality throughout. Available in sub-compact (P-10 S), compact (P-10 C), and full-size (P-10 F) configurations, the P-10 family competes directly with Glock, Sig, and HK at a price point that makes the trigger quality all the more impressive. Impact Guns carries the full P-10 lineup.

New for 2026: CZ P-10 C Ported COA

The P-10 C Ported COA is CZ’s most fully-equipped factory package, introduced at IWA 2026 and shipping mid-year. It combines a gray fiber-reinforced polymer frame, factory-mounted Aimpoint COA 3.5 MOA red dot via CZ’s direct A-CUT slide mount, a ported cold hammer-forged 4.0-inch barrel for reduced muzzle rise, a factory duralumin magwell, and an aluminum trigger shoe. Ships with three magazines — 15-round flush, 17-round, and 19-round extension — for maximum flexibility across carry, duty, and competition use. The Nocturne co-witness iron sights remain usable with the Aimpoint COA mounted. For buyers who would outfit a standard P-10 C with an optic, magwell, and upgraded trigger anyway, the Ported COA delivers all three from the factory.

The P-10 Trigger

The P-10’s trigger is the platform’s most celebrated feature and the primary reason it converted so many Glock shooters. The flat-faced trigger provides consistent finger placement regardless of where contact is made, breaking cleanly at approximately 4.5 pounds with minimal pre-travel and a short, positive reset. The reset is tactile and audible—shooters report that fast follow-up shots feel more controlled on the P-10 than on comparable striker-fired pistols. CZ achieved this trigger quality without aftermarket parts or gunsmithing. For buyers who have been disappointed by the trigger on their Glock or M&P and don’t want to spend money on aftermarket upgrades, the P-10 C is a compelling solution.

CZ P-10C Ported: Factory Compensation in the P-10 Platform

The CZ P-10C Ported adds a factory-ported and compensated barrel to the P-10C’s already-competitive platform — ports cut into the barrel and slide that vent propellant gas upward to reduce muzzle flip for faster target reacquisition. The Ported configuration ships optics-ready with the P-10C’s standard slide cut and contrast 3-dot sights. For competition shooters in USPSA Production or Carry Optics who want factory compensation without custom gunsmithing, and for carry buyers who want the P-10C’s value-competitive quality with improved muzzle control: the Ported is the correct P-10C variant. The ported slide’s gas venting characteristics should be considered for close-contact defensive use — in contact-distance scenarios, ported slides can cause cycling issues. For competition and range use: the ported configuration’s control advantages are straightforward. See our CZ-USA brand page and 9mm pistols page.

P-10 S—Sub-Compact Carry

The P-10 S is the smallest P-10, designed for concealed carry with a 3.5-inch barrel and 12+1 capacity in 9mm. An optics-ready variant adds a factory slide cut for direct red dot mounting. The P-10 S is slim enough for IWB carry and light enough for all-day wear while retaining the P-10 family’s trigger quality. Interchangeable backstraps allow grip customization. The P-10 S competes directly with the Glock 43X and Sig P365 in the compact carry category, offering more trigger refinement than either at a comparable price. For carry shooters who prioritize trigger quality above all else in a compact package, the P-10 S is the natural choice.

P-10 C—The Most Popular

The P-10 C (Compact) is the flagship of the P-10 family and the direct Glock 19 competitor. With 15+1 capacity in a 4.02-inch barrel package, it covers the same ground as the Glock 19 while offering the superior P-10 trigger from the factory. The optics-ready P-10 C OR adds a factory slide cut. The P-10 C is available in standard and suppressor-ready (SR) variants with a threaded barrel and higher sights. For buyers shopping the Glock 19 category who are willing to look at alternatives, the P-10 C should be on every shortlist—it offers more trigger quality than any Glock at the same price and matches or beats Glock on ergonomics for most shooters.

P-10 F—Full-Size Duty

The P-10 F extends the platform to a full-size duty configuration with a 4.5-inch barrel and 19+1 capacity—two more rounds than the Glock 17. The full-size frame provides a longer sight radius and the best trigger feel of the three P-10 variants due to the slightly longer grip and trigger reach. The P-10 F is the choice for duty use, home defense, and competitive shooting where concealment isn’t a concern. For competition shooters in Production or Carry Optics divisions who want a factory trigger that doesn’t need aftermarket work, the P-10 F is one of the most competition-ready stock pistols available.

CZ P10M: The Sub-Compact Micro Variant

The CZ P10M is the micro sub-compact member of the P10 family — a 3.19” barrel, 7-round flush magazine, and adjustable rear sight in a package even more compact than the P10C. The “M” designation stands for Micro, and the P10M delivers the P10’s excellent trigger and CZ build quality in the most pocket-friendly configuration in the lineup. With a 12-round extended magazine also available, the P10M serves as both a minimal-footprint carry pistol and a backup gun for duty use. The adjustable rear sight is unusual at this price point and size tier, allowing precise zeroing that fixed-sight competitors can’t match. For CZ fans who want the P10’s trigger character in the most compact available format, the P10M is the answer. Compare with the Glock 43 and M&P Shield as the direct sub-compact competitors.

Optics-Ready Options

All P-10 variants are available in optics-ready (OR) configurations with a factory-milled slide that accepts popular miniature red dot footprints without adapter plates. The OR cut is compatible with Trijicon RMR, Holosun 507c, and other common red dots. The suppressor-ready (SR) variants add a threaded barrel and taller sights for suppressor use. For carry or duty shooters transitioning to optics, the P-10 OR provides a factory solution without the cost of aftermarket milling. Combined with the P-10’s excellent trigger, an optics-equipped P-10 C OR is one of the most capable carry pistols available at its price point.
