This Ruger 10/22 pairs the classic sporter look with a 20" Light Varmint Target barrel that is threaded at the muzzle for a suppressor or muzzle device. The blued barrel and receiver sit in a checkered beech wood sporter stock, a traditional setup for small game hunting, plinking, and target work at the range. Ruger's BX trigger gives a crisper, lighter pull than the older factory trigger, and a match bolt release makes it easier to close the bolt. The receiver is drilled and tapped for optics since the rifle ships without iron sights, and it feeds from the familiar 10-round rotary magazine with a 1:16" twist suited to 22 LR bullets.
