Electro-Optics industrial design inspired by our legendary firearms; deflection armor trapezoidal surfacing breaks up the shape and visibility of the optic along with pistol slide serrations and grip checkering to add function to the form of all SIG SAUER electro-optics.
Activated through motion sensing technology, MOTAC immediately powers up illumination when it senses motion and powers down when it does not in order to extend battery life.
Highly efficient, ultra-wide broadband, anti-reflection lens coatings reduce surface reflections to extremely low levels across the entire visible spectrum providing superior light transmission.

Romeo5
Easy to install, setup, and use. Very clear and precise. I need to figure out where to place or attach the covers as I have a tendency to forget them if I lay them down.

No quality control
Great reviews out there so looked at numerous Romeo5 sights but all had issues. One the illumination did not work properly. Just a hard to see small red dot that would not increase in illumination. Another, the windage and elevation adjustments did not work. A third had glass / view distortion issues. Another had discoloration glass issues even with the illumination and dot turned off and other issues as well. Also, the quality of the red dot on all the scopes was streaking. The worst I had seen of the many reflex / red dots I looked at including some $40 sights. Prism red dot sights seem to have the best dot clarity. I returned the one I bought, went with another brand, and spent more to get better quality. Sig appears to have poor quality control or design/manufacturing issue on their cheaper sights.
