The G2C pistol is where performance, concealability, and shooter ergonomics meet. It is built on a rugged polymer frame that includes aggressive stipling, ergonomically placed along the grip to ensure firearm retention and to maintain positive hand alignment for optimal accuracy. The compact profile combined with magazine contoured grip extension delivers a solid, comfortable hold for small- or large-hand shooters. Operation of the G2C is straightforward, thanks to a striker-fire, double-action trigger system that includes restrike capability. A manual, external safety is located conveniently above the thumb for quick manipulation in stressful conditions. The reversible magazine release is also ergonomically positioned for rapid, one-hand mag drops during tactical mag changes. Integrated into the G2C frame is a Mil-STD 1913 Picatinny rail. The carbon steel slide features slide contours which blend with the frame to promote a smooth, snag-free draw and re-holster. Precision-cut slide serrations also provide a no-slip grip when charging the pistol. Topping the slide is a fixed white dot front sight and a dual white dot rear sight with elevation and windage adjustment.

Taurus G2C For Conceal Carry and Self Defense
I purchased one of these in 40 S&W because no matter how you measure it, a 10 mm hole is larger than a 9 mm hole....in a paper target of course. I used it right out of the box to qualify for concealed carry and it was an absolute dream and pleasure to use. 40 S&W is a very effective round, remember most 10 mm ammunition is considered 10 mm Lite which is what 40 S&W is designed to equal but do it in frame sized for 9 mm. This in my opinion is a terrific buy at a good price and a harder hitting round. It's simple.....multiply bullet weight x muzzle velocity and you'll see 40 S&W is the winner against 9 MM. Always remember to compare apples to apples when comparing cartridges to cartridges. Great firearm!!!
