Glock Magazines
Glock magazines are the most widely used pistol magazines in the world — the same double-stack polymer design that ships with every Glock has become the de facto standard adopted by pistol-caliber carbines, chassis systems, and aftermarket platforms across the industry. Impact Guns carries factory Glock OEM magazines for every current model alongside aftermarket options from Magpul, ETS, and others in standard and extended capacities.

Glock Magazine Compatibility: Which Mags Fit Which Guns
Glock uses a few distinct magazine families based on caliber and frame size. The 9mm double-stack family is the largest: G17 17-round magazines fit the G17, G19, G26, G34, G45, and G19X (they’ll extend below the grip on smaller models). G19 15-round magazines fit the G19, G26, G45, and G19X flush. G26 10-round magazines fit the G26 flush and all larger 9mm models. The G43X/G48 family uses a different, slimmer magazine (Shield Arms S15 aftermarket mags are popular for 15-round capacity). The G42 (.380) and G43 (9mm single-stack) use their own dedicated magazines.
Standard vs. Extended Capacity
Factory Glock magazines come in standard capacity (17 rounds for G17, 15 for G19, etc.) and Glock-branded +2 extensions. Aftermarket extended magazines from Magpul (21-round and 27-round GL9 PMAG), ETS (31-round), and drum magazines (50-round) are available for 9mm Glocks. For competition (USPSA, IDPA), extended basepads from Taran Tactical, Dawson Precision, and others add 2–5 rounds to a standard magazine body.
10mm and .45 ACP Glock Magazines
The G20 (10mm) and G21 (.45 ACP) use their own wider magazine bodies that are not interchangeable with 9mm Glock magazines. The G20 ships with 15-round magazines; the G21 ships with 13-round magazines.
OEM Glock vs. Aftermarket Magazines
Factory Glock OEM magazines are the reliability standard — they’re what Glock tests and warrants the pistol with. Magpul GL9 PMAGs are the most popular aftermarket option, offering similar reliability at a lower price. ETS magazines are translucent polymer, letting you see the round count visually. For duty and carry, most instructors recommend OEM Glock magazines. For range and competition, quality aftermarket magazines work well.
Glock Magazines in Non-Glock Platforms
Glock-pattern magazines are used in dozens of non-Glock platforms: the Kel-Tec Sub-2000, Ruger LC Carbine, Daniel Defense PCC, CMMG Banshee/Dissent, and many other pistol-caliber carbines accept Glock magazines as their standard feed system.
