Century Arms
Century Arms has built a strong following by importing and manufacturing some of the most affordable AK-pattern and roller-delayed firearms available in the American market. The Draco AK pistol series, VSKA and WASR-10 rifles, and the AP5 MP5-pattern pistol deliver genuine Eastern European firearm engineering at prices well below competing platforms. Impact Guns carries the full Century Arms lineup for buyers who want reliable, battle-proven designs without premium pricing.

AP5—The MP5 Clone
The AP5 is Century Arms’ semi-automatic version of the HK MP5, built on the same roller-delayed blowback operating system as the original. The AP5 uses genuine HK-pattern barrels and components where possible, accepts standard MP5 magazines, and delivers the distinctive roller-delayed feel and excellent accuracy of the original platform at a price far below the HK SP5. The AP5-M variant adds a Picatinny optics rail and a shorter pistol configuration. For shooters who want the MP5 experience—that distinctive roller-delayed trigger, the reliable 9mm operation, the HK heritage—without the SP5’s premium price, the AP5 is the natural choice.
Draco AK Pistols
The Draco series is Century Arms’ most popular product line—AK-pattern pistols in 7.62x39mm (Draco), 5.56 NATO (Mini Draco), and 9mm (Draco 9mm) with short barrels and pistol configurations. The original Draco features a 12.25-inch barrel in 7.62x39mm, accepting standard AK-47 magazines. The Mini Draco reduces to a 7.75-inch barrel for maximum compactness. Both are popular as pistol brace hosts and truck guns. The Draco’s AK-pattern reliability means it functions with virtually any 7.62x39mm ammunition—brass, steel, or aluminum case—making it one of the most economical pistol-platform firearms to feed.
VSKA—American-Made AK Rifle
The VSKA is Century Arms’ American-made AK-47 pattern rifle, assembled in the United States from domestic and imported components. It features a chrome-lined barrel, enhanced front trunnion, and improved fire control group compared to earlier Century AK offerings. The VSKA accepts standard AK-47 magazines, functions reliably with steel-case surplus ammunition, and delivers the AK platform’s legendary reliability in a domestically manufactured package. For buyers who want an American-assembled AK at an accessible price with improved quality control over earlier imports, the VSKA is the flagship offering.
WASR-10—The Romanian AK
The WASR-10 is one of the most popular imported AK-pattern rifles in the country—a Romanian military-surplus-pattern semi-automatic in 7.62x39mm that has been imported and sold by Century Arms for decades. The WASR-10 accepts standard double-stack AK magazines, features a chrome-lined barrel, and delivers the AK platform’s reliability at an entry-level price. It is not a precision rifle—fit and finish vary between individual examples—but as a reliable, affordable AK-pattern rifle for range use and general ownership, the WASR-10 has proven itself over millions of rounds and years of service. See our dedicated WASR-10 page for more detail.
BFT99—The Galil-Pattern Rifle
The BFT99 is Century Arms’ take on the Israeli Galil ARM pattern rifle, chambered in 5.56 NATO with a folding stock and a distinctive aesthetic that sets it apart from standard AK and AR-15 designs. The Galil-pattern uses a modified AK operating system scaled for the smaller 5.56 cartridge, combining AK reliability with NATO caliber standardization. For collectors and shooters who want a Galil-pattern rifle without the price of a genuine Israeli import, the BFT99 offers the experience at an accessible price point.
