Used for defense
After considerable practice, about 1000 rds. I started carrying full time. I was confronted by a rabid coyote [confirmed by Parks and Wildlife]and fired one shot at 50'. Dead on instant kill. I felt bad but he didn't back off and you could tell something was wrong. But had it been a two legged predator I'd still be here. If I did it over I'd buy the plastic version to shave some weight, otherwise it's a perfect 10.

Best CC I've seen
I own a Match full size and a compact. Stock grips are thick, bought some thin aluminum ones, turned it into a 10. Tends to jam till it's broken in. It's a 10mm - don't limp wrist it. Wow a CC in 10mm. I had a Glock 20, had. I like it so well I plan to buy a 2nd compact and keep it in my truck. Did I mention it's a 10mm? If you don't have big hands [long fingers] get a set of thin grips and run some rds through it, you'll love it.

EAA Witness 10mm
I own both the steel compact and a Witness Elite Match in 10mm. The grips are large for my hands otherwise it gets a 10. Some hang ups during break in. At around 200+ rounds it smoothed out. Retired my CZ75 Compact PCR as a CC and now carry the EAA. Great quality, fantastic fit and a carry in 10mm, what more could one ask for? Haven't stretched it out to see how its accuracy holds up, but at 50' it's still ALMOST a nail driver.

Witness Compact 10mm Steel
I have had this handgun since 2002 and have shot many rounds through it. Had problems at first and had to send it back to EAA in FL. Got it fixed and it has worked great since. The previous post talked about it jamming. The return spring is very stiff, so you must really strong arm the gun, so it will cycle properly. Everyone who shoots it jams it, becuase they hold it wimpy or loosely. When I hold it and really stiff arm it, the gun functions flawlessly. It is my concealed carry gun. I bought a fifteen round extended magazine from EAA, which is supper nice. Love the gun, but you need to learn how it shoots.

Witness Compact Shoots Great
This is my fourth Witness pistol. It shoots very well, no ammo problems. I have shot about 200 rounds of various 10MM ammo, never a problem. I recommend this gun for those of you who understand the importance of a big caliber- at high velocity!

How do I start the return process?
- Log in to your www.impactguns.com account and locate and click on the "Request Return" link.
- An Impact Guns agent will review your request for a return and respond within two business days.
- All returns are subject to inspection and approval prior to refund being issued.
- All products need to be in new and original manufacturer condition.
- As an alternate method, you can send an email to sales@impactguns.com. Please be sure to include your original order number and relevant contact information.
When will I get my credit or return?
- Most returns are fully refunded in 3-5 days after we receive and process the return. It may take longer for the credit to appear in your account depending on your bank. Most items that are in stock ship within 3-5 days after receipt of your returned item but may take longer depending on availability.
- Returns must be charged back to the original credit card used in the purchase. If this is not possible, we will refund you via check.
What about damaged/incorrect items?
- If you received a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, Impact Guns will ship you a replacement of the exact item upon receipt of the damaged or defective item. Impact Guns will send you a return shipping label for the return.
What about return shipping costs?
- If an Impact Guns error causes the need to return an item or we are replacing a returned defective or incorrect item, then we will pay the associated shipping costs.
- Otherwise, the customer is responsible for any return shipping costs. When returning an item, please add package tracking and adequate insurance.
