The Tandemkross Shock Block replaces the factory bolt buffer in the Ruger PC Carbine and PC Charger. An aluminum-reinforced body holds a high-durometer insert that absorbs bolt impact and keeps the bolt from striking the receiver pin directly, which reduces wear and felt shock. It is a drop-in part that needs no tools; Tandemkross recommends installation by a qualified gunsmith.
