Sharing the same action as Henry's single-shot rifle, this break-top shotgun features the same rebounding external hammer and dual-direction pivoting locking lever setup that blocks hammer contact with the firing pin unless the trigger is pulled, and the same interlock system that prevents opening or closing the action with the hammer cocked. The is no manual safety. The steel frame version has an American Walnut pistol grip buttstock with a solid black rubber recoil pad, blued receiver and a round matte black barrel with a brass bead front sight. This 12-gauge has a 3.5" chamber and includes a removable Modified choke tube.

I've owned this Henry shotgun for 4 years. This is NOT an entry level gun. It's a Henry... , QUALITY!! Fit and finish are great. The walnut stock on mine is beautiful. Customer service , if you might need it is, in my opinion, the best in the industry. I own 5 Henry firearms. Buy one, you won't regret it....
