Good shooting gun but if something goes wrong with the gun it will take up to 6 months for them to fix it and send it back I don't recommend rossi guns

Overall this little rifle will turn out to be a popular gun. Out of the box it has some problems. First read the manual and clean all of the protective coatings and grease and clean thoroughly. While cleaning "dry fire" by putting your thumb on the hammer and pull trigger. "Do not let the hammer slam forward. Stop it with your other thumb". I did this many times and the trigger pull dropped by 2 pounds at least. Effectively you are polishing the fine burrs from trigger and sear. It does make a difference. Second, and this is something that Rossi (or their manufacturing company) should do. The end of the barrel chamber has very sharp edges that should be polished out (not sanded, not filed) but polished with polishing compound and jeweler rouge. The sharp edges actually will shave the brass and leave the action covered in tiny brass shavings. More important jams caused will damage the bullets Jamming and failure to load will result. I went through 7 or 8 bullet types and shapes. The sharp edge on chamber will grab the bullet right where the casing begins. Many jams. Shot a couple of hundred rounds first day. During my second cleaning (first was out of box) I polished the barrel end. Just polished and just the edge with a dremel tool and felt cone with polishing paste and rouge. NOTE: You are not removing material just polishing the edge. Second time out I shot many more shots. It favors the more pointed bullet shapes but now feeds almost all ammo. It is very accurate and fun to shoot. Looking forward to my third trip to the range.

How do I start the return process?

- An Impact Guns agent will review your request for a return and respond within two business days.
- All returns are subject to inspection and approval prior to refund being issued.
- All products need to be in new and original manufacturer condition.

When will I get my credit or return?
- Most returns are fully refunded in 3-5 days after we receive and process the return. It may take longer for the credit to appear in your account depending on your bank. Most items that are in stock ship within 3-5 days after receipt of your returned item but may take longer depending on availability.
- Returns must be charged back to the original credit card used in the purchase. If this is not possible, we will refund you via check.
What about damaged/incorrect items?
- If you received a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, Impact Guns will ship you a replacement of the exact item upon receipt of the damaged or defective item. Impact Guns will send you a return shipping label for the return.
What about return shipping costs?
- If an Impact Guns error causes the need to return an item or we are replacing a returned defective or incorrect item, then we will pay the associated shipping costs.
- Otherwise, the customer is responsible for any return shipping costs. When returning an item, please add package tracking and adequate insurance.
