This weapon has never had a misfire misfeed stovepipe you name it. It has an absolute perfect record with hundreds of rounds fired through it. I found the quality control to be quite well with this weapon. It comes with all of the features of a much more expensive weapon. This gun is louder than my AR-15 rifle. It is impossible for me to shoot this gun without a major ear ache unless I take my hearing protection. Other than that it's just really well-made.

I bought one of these new about two years ago. Its performed well and I'm happy with my purchase. In short, I'd buy it again

Accurate 1911

I have a polished blue with 5" barrel and I must admit it's very accurate. I wasn't too sure when I purchased it because the rear sight nearly fell off. After a gunsmith attached it properly, it does live up to the factory claims as far as accuracy. Both sets of factory grips had to be sent back to Taurus due to improper fitting from the factory. This is a good gun and could be great with better quality control at the factory.
