Required significant break-in
I needed to put 200+ rounds through this thing to get it to function smoothly. The first 8 rounds wouldn't even cycle the action at all. Good luck getting a full magazine to seat too. It's a great concept, and the trigger is light years better than the original model was, but the machining tolerances just feel too tight. The long and short is this: It's not a gun for beginners, and it isn't a gun for people with weak hands or poor grip strength. Put a few boxes of ammo through it, slap some Talon grips on the slide and grip, and you'll be happier with your purchase.

Felt Cheap
I’m a huge fan of S&W, but this product felt cheap. The magazine release was gritty and rough, and the polymer frame felt like it was lower quality than what I’m typically used to with S&W products.
