The Savage Arms Axis 2 XP is a left-hand bolt-action rifle package chambered in 5.56 NATO. It comes with a 3-9x40mm scope that is mounted and bore-sighted at the factory, so the rifle is ready to zero out of the box. The 20-inch button-rifled barrel is threaded 1/2x28, and the Gray synthetic stock has enhanced texturing, a contoured pistol grip with palm swells on both sides and a length of pull that adjusts from 12.75 to 13.75 inches. It also has the user-adjustable AccuTrigger and a detachable box magazine that holds four rounds.
