The Recover Tactical RC12 adds a Picatinny accessory rail to Gen 1 and Gen 2 Glock 17 and 22 pistols, which have no factory rail. Two polymer half shells clamp around the front of the trigger guard and are held together by two small bolts, so no permanent change is made to the frame. It is glass-reinforced polymer and weighs about 25 grams. Many existing holsters will not fit the pistol with the adapter installed.
