Kel-Tec, KSG, Pump Action Shotgun, 12 Gauge, 3" Chamber, 18.5" Barrel, Black Finish, Synthetic Stock, Tactical Handguard with Rails, 14Rd Tube
This bullpup pump-action shotgun has dual tube magazines that can hold a total of 14+1 rounds of ammunition. The KSG can only set to feed from the right or the left. Once the magazine is empty, the operator must use a manual switch to select the other magazine. This may appear at first glance to be disadvantage but for many people who live in areas where shotgun magazine capacity is limited by law, this feature, or lack of feature as the case may be, could allow them to legally possess the KSG.

Great hope I never have to use it gun.
I have had my KSG for over a year now and have put a lot of rounds threw it. I had read about it online and knew I had to have one. It is a "Gen 2" by enthusiasts standards. I say that because I called Kel Tec to confirm it was a model with the new improvements, they informed me that there is no Gen 1-Gen-2 just improvements to the original specs. When I started looking for one it was easy, my local gun store had one New... the fact that it was a lot cheaper then I had heard they were going for, is what made me concerned if it was an early production or not. If you happen to have a non upgraded version contact Kel Tek they will do the upgrades for the cost of shipping. I have had no jams, no misfires, no trouble loading the tubes. I am very experienced with firearms though, you can't baby this weapon it take authority to be operated correctly. Overall I wish I had got a more useful everyday shotgun but this one has its place in my heart and I pray for the other guy if it ever gets used in self defense, because it is a monster.

I don't trust this gun yet because,
First off, I love the look of this gun, gorgeous! I got a gen.2 for Christmas and I have loaded it many times with shells, both 2.75" and 3" and had problems. When cycling the ammo through the gun WITHOUT actually shooting it, the gun would not feed the shell in multiple time per side. Example: the chambered shell would eject but the next shell would not load until the next pump or cycle. Almost every single time i've tried to cycle the shells through without shooting i would have this proble, sometimes once and sometimes nearly every cycle regardless of how gently or firmly I cycle the gun. I called, emailed and called Kel-Tec MULTIPLE times and I have NEVER ONCE got ANYBODY speak to me. There are also NO KSG Options to choose for customer service unlike everyone of their other guns! I have gone shooting the gun and when you actually shoot the gun, I've had Zero Failures of any kind! Real life shooting has worked flawlessly the 2 times i've been out for a total of maybe 40-50 rounds. It will certainly need to earn my trust and some customer service would be nice as well...

Got mine and you should get yours
I purchased mine in June 2014. I did the research and had my eye on it ever since first saw it in 2009. Thank God I waited because the first gen had problems that due to good engineering were solved. Paid about $190.00 over what they are listed for here (that's figuring in state sales tax and trans fee.) You'll want slap on a vertical slide grip to help with the short shucking and also include flip up peep sights. Otherwise, crazy power! Even with bird shot is nuts. Get them as Kel-tec controls the numbers coming out of the factory.

prices are going up!
I have been on wait list for a year> price written on my special order form june 2012 for ksg was $650> they called me yesterday (mar 22 2013) to pick up...rang up at $1080. after some back and forth I got it for $915. they had to call everyone else on wait list to let them know that they would have to pay $1080 if and when they might get one. didn't mind paying the $915 from prices I have seen. other then that gun shoots and functions great.

Not Available
Im not sure when this was written but i just purchased a KSG online thru a major internet gun dealer so it is available to the public>>> Reply: The KSG's are very hard to get, only very limited numbers. The "Not Available" means we do not have them in stock, ready to ship.
