F.A.I.R. SLX 600 Black Over-Under 20 Ga, 28" Barrel, 3" Chamber, 2rd

Ordered and received this O/U after calling Impact to ask if it was the SLX600 or the SLX600 De Lux. They assured me it was the De Lux version. Upon receipt it was clear it was not the De Lux version. I had called the Italian Firearms Group to ask what the difference was between the two models. The De Lux has upgraded wood, 5 chokes, upgraded butt pad and comes in a plastic case. IFG also told me there is some confusion with some of the retailers and distributors between these two models. Impact ships you a gun with plain wood, a hard plastic butt pad, 3 chokes in a cardboard box. On the good side Impacts no hassle return worked flawlessly. My short assessment of the SLX 600 is. A nice quality gun, tight action, I like hinge pin design and good quality overall. However, I like the Franchi choke system to the F.A.I.R system they are better quality in my eyes. Would have kept the gun if it was the De Lux model.
