The Carbon Tenon (CT) system extends the carbon fiber barrel wrap beyond the standard length to cover the tenon — the portion of the barrel that threads into the action. Wrapping the tenon in carbon fiber adds stiffness at the most mechanically critical barrel-action junction, reducing micro-flex that can affect shot-to-shot consistency, especially over the long strings common in long-range shooting.
