The CMC bolt carrier group is a complete AR-15 BCG for 5.56 NATO and 223 Remington with a nickel boron finish. The carrier is 8620 steel, the bolt is 9310 or Carpenter 158 steel, the 4130 gas key is staked and held with Grade 8 screws, the extractor and cam pin are 4140 steel and the 8740 firing pin is hard chromed. Three gas rings are fitted.
