Atomic Subsonic 308 Winchester is loaded to stay below the speed of sound, so a suppressed rifle runs far quieter without the supersonic crack. This load uses a 175 grain hollow point boat tail bullet in new brass cases. Subsonic loads may not generate enough gas to cycle a semi-automatic rifle; they are best suited to bolt-action rifles or manual cycling. Sold in 20-round boxes.
