The AGM NVG-40 is a dual-tube night vision goggle/binocular that gives both eyes a true stereo image for better depth perception during nighttime navigation and observation. This NL1 configuration uses a Gen 2+ "Level 1" P43 green phosphor image intensifier tube pair with a built-in dual-power infrared illuminator for close-range use in total darkness. It mounts to a standard NVG dovetail or bayonet/horn interface for head or helmet-mounted, hands-free operation.
