I bought the.357 because the longer barrel & I can still shoot.38s as well. The only reason I didn’t rate it 5 stars is because the original grip was rubbing my hand but fixed it with a rubber pachmayr grip. It is a bit tougher to shoot.357 rds but I always use PMC Starfire 125gr. hollow points. If this revolver was lighter it wouldn’t be as accurate as many inexperienced complain. A perfect example is a Glock. Even in 9mm grouping is very hard from 15-20 yards away with my 17 which only weighs about 24 oz unlike my Beretta 92FS that’s 32-33oz & puts the Glocks to shame just as SIGs do. If you want a light pocket pistol then get one in a smaller caliber. Most cops carry Glock 22s & my retired police detective never used. He preferred his SIG 226. Glocks are reliable mainly for competition shooting when the magazine is empty & all you have to do is release the empty mag & slam in a full one & it’ll chamber a round automatically.
