Controlled round feed and integral scope mounts (scope rings included). 10-round detachable box magazine. 16.5 inch medium contour, steel barrel with a Mini-14 protected non-glare post front sight and receiver mounted, adjustable ghost ring rear sight. Forward mounted Picatinny rail. Mini-14/SR-556 flash suppressor. 5/8-24 muzzle threads. Black laminate stock with sling swivel studs and checkered grip and forearm. Soft rubber recoil pad with three 1/2 inch spacers. Gunsite Scout Rifle is engraved on the grip cap and the receiver is rollmarked Ruger Gunsite Scout, commemorating the collaboration of Ruger Firearms and Gunsite Academy (America s oldest private firearms training facility). 1:10 inch right hand twist. 6 grooves.

Really nice rifle. Trigger breaks crisp and clean, and puts them where you need them to be. I mounted a Hi-Lux Long Eye Relief scope on it. The rifle arrived in perfect condition, and ready to rock. Took it to the range and was shooting 1" groups at 100 yards with Nosler Accubond Bullets. The rifle ate them up and spit them out. The only con, and it has nothing to do with the Rifle itself, is that the extra mags cost $29.95, but they're good. I would highly recommend this rifle to anyone looking for a really excellent made and reliable scout rifle to go hunting with.

I bought this rifle from my local gunshop. Tried it at 25 yards it was dead on. Next I went out to 350 yards and sent off 10 rounds I was only six inches off target and not to mention I was propped up on my truck with it still running. All in all its a very accurate rifle out of the box and I was shooting cbc 7.62x51 ball ammo cheap ammo by the way

I bought this gun with Impact's Layaway. This gun is a dream. Smooth bolt action, comfortable shooting, accurate. I have had no problems with feeding or ejecting. I use the gun just like it came out of the box and I could shoot it all day. I use .308 and 7.62 no problems with either.
