The John Deere of AR-15's,

Let's face it, there are a whole lot of good AR's out there. Some even more expensive than the Colt however, this gun will hold it's value, and be in my will when I die.
It is a good solid gun without the problems found in some cheaper guns.
Like the John Deere tractor, value means cost.
Now, as for function. It is very accurate. Runs flawlessly and is easy to clean and work on. The U.S. Military has no problem spending money and this is what they buy. Enough said.

Excellent Rifle at and excellent price,

This was my first rifle purchase. I was attracted to it because I used a Colt M4A1 in the Marine Corps and can verify Colt's reliability. I was very satisfied with this platform, it is roll stamped "M4 Carbine", it comes with a very sturdy rail system made by Troy but Colt threw their logo on it making it very exclusive. It also comes with great Magpul accessories. I have put 200 rounds through this rifle so far and I have had zero failures. I strongly recommend this rifle above all others, get what our troops get, you won't be dissapointed.

This rifle is perfect, right out of the box. I served for 8 years, and carried the standard issue M16A1 as well as the newer M4A3, and I loved my M4A3. I got that same feeling again when I picked up this rifle. The only additions I made were the Grip Pod LE Bi-pod verticle foregrip, and EOTech 512 red dot sight. The Troy Rail is excellent, and just what I needed. I can't say enough good things about this rifle. Perfect for anyone looking for a quality tactical AR15.
