Tthe SE122 and 202 (20 ga version) now sport nicely figured Turkish walnut with a deep gloss finish and classic prince-of-wales grip. With an action bar milled from solid bar steel, the 122 is tough enough to handle high-volume shooting with 3" magnum shells, but still sensitive enough to cycle reliably with light target loads. Back-bored barrel reduces recoil and dramatically improves shot pattern and penetration. A convenient magazine release allows you to extract unfired shells from the magazine without cycling the action, an added safety feature. Super strong action bar is milled from solid steel stock and joins the power bushing in an interlocking fit. Extra-wide O-ring is secured in a channel forward of the gas ports, reducing slippage, wear and loss. Placement of the action return spring around the magazine rather than in the butt stock permits use of a more durable spring, and allows unlimited shortening of the stock for young shooters.
