This is a fantastic gun! It’s ergonomics are great and it feels perfect in my hand . I bought this to replace my Shield micro compact also in .40 cal. That gun is so snappy it literally hurts your hand to fire it. Because of that I rarely practiced with it, however, I wanted to carry something with greater stopping power than 9mm. This all metal version combines the stopping power I want in an easy to carry , easy to shoot compact gun. Plus, the heavier gun makes it much easier to control recoil and stay on target. I really like this gun and was comfortable with Impact’s pricing. I’ve since purchased two more guns (both 1911’s) from impact at excellent prices and with great customer service . Impact is my go to shop for new handguns.
