Magnum Research has entered the 1911 segment of the handgun market with its first two offerings, a full-size "G" model (5.055” barrel) and semi-compact "C" model (4.33” barrel) Desert Eagle® 1911 pistol.
Both models feature enhanced beavertail safety, skeletonized trigger and hammer, crisp trigger, extended safety lever, beveled magazine well, tightly tolerance frame and slide for enhanced accuracy. Pistol ships with one magazine in the gun and one additional magazine.

Love it! love it! love it!
I figured i would throw in my 2 cents on the magnum research 1911 and honestly all i can say is that its amazing! Was finally able to take it out to the range on Saturday and put it through its paces and got 100 rounds through it with absolutely no failure s or jams the trigger is very crisp with no creep or play in it at all. And the over all fit and finish on this pistol is spectacular! I would have expected to pay a lot more for something this nice (got mine for 706$) over all worth the buy if you see one get it!!!

The Magnum Research 1911G is a Excellent gun. shoot's great fit is as good as a custom gun for a lot and less shoot's just as good to I am getting 1" group's at 30 yard's with it right out of the box.. good price to.. got it here at Impact Gun's and I am very happy with it and the serves here at Impact Gun's

One of my favorites
Bought the 1911G model and it is a phenomenal weapon right out of the box. Cleaned it, took it to the range and put a couple of boxes of 230gr through it. Super accurate, surprisingly mild recoil, fun to shoot and easy to maintain. A bit heavier than I like for CC, but a great bedside "what was that noise" piece.

Great Gun Now!!!!
Impact Customer service was great as before. Now this is a great gun but had a problem when I first got it with failure to eject and jamming with every magazine. I sent it back to MR and they made some adjustments and it functions perfectly. The gun is very accurate and is a blast to shoot. My only complaint is the $40 I was out on having to ship it back to MR when it should have been perfect from the start, otherwise it would be five star!!!!!

awesome 1911
recently purchased this handgun and boy is it awesome shoots very well sights are practically dead on out of the box put 50 rounds in a 3 inch circle from 25 ft away feels lighter then it looks this is my concealed carry handgun and it doesnt bother me wether its on the hip or on the shoulder holster . if your a fan of the 1911 or just want the stopping power to deal with degenerates and zombies this is the one for you very well made .45 im purchasing a second one because i love it so much

Find it & buy it!
These 1911 are extremely well manufactured, very tight slide to frame fit, no wiggle in any direction. Out of the box trigger pull was light at 4 pounds with a crisp break. Accuracy is less than one inch at 15 yardswithout bench rest. All steel construction (weight) which tames the recoil for quick, accurate follow-up shots. Handles and shoots better than my other 1911s C@lt Gol@ Cup Trop@y and my Kim@@@ M@tch Te@m USA. Only addition to the Desert Eagle, Gunsmith polished the trigger/hammer set and now its 3.5 pounds and still crisp.

First 1911
This gun is excelent. Its by far my favorite gun purchase. the recoil is less than that of my springfield .40 subcompact. Its comfortable to hold, wieght is well balanced and handles well Like most other 1911's it comes with two 8rnd mags, i sugest a couple high capasity mags to compliment the package. This is a sweet gun. though not practical as a carry, it is a gun everyone should have I have every intention of purchasing a second.
