** Long-fiber, glass-filled polymer fire control housing helps reduce recoil.
** Aircraft quality aluminum monolithic frame with a black synergistic hard coat provides sturdy, rigid support for the cylinder and barrel.
** Extensively fluted 400 series stainless steel cylinder is lightweight and compact, but strong and durable enough to handle .38 Special +P loads. It is treated with an advanced form of Ruger?s Target Grey® finish.
** Cylinder front latching system uses titanium components, optimized spring tension, and enhanced lockup geometry to ensure that the LCR's cylinder stays locked in place during firing.
** Friction-reducing cam fire control system results in non-stacking, smooth trigger pull for this double-action-only revolver.
** Replaceable ramp front and fixed U-notch rear sights.
** Internal lock is hidden unobtrusively under the grip and does not interfere with the fire control mechanism in any way when disengaged.
** Hogue® Tamer grip helps reduce perceived recoil.

Ruger LCR
Really nice gun. I've carried who knows how many other guns in just about every place on my body, but I think I'm through looking. I looked at all of the night sight options before settling on the Meprolight front sight, and the finished product looks and shoots just right. Kudos to Ruger!

Big Hands Little Thunder
I bought the LCR for carry when on my bicycle in the state park in my belly bag. Quick aquisition of target and it fits perfectly in my large size hands. must get practice to improve your shot. Very happy with mine. May now get the 357Mag

Almost perfect
Purchased this gun for use as a concealed carry weapon, and to that effect, it is amazing. Very concealable, and very easy to carry/use. Grips are very comfortable and the gun is a perfect fit for my hand. Word to the wise though, stick with the regular .38 rounds. The +P rounds add an uncomfortable kick with regard to recoil.

Very, very cool
My experience with this revolver is limited to a 50 round exercise with a rental, but I confirmed that the gun did indeed live up to the hype. Light weight, unusual looks, unique design, and a very smooth trigger are all there. However, I have to admit that the recoil from even standard pressure .38's was unpleasant to my small hands. This is for the folks who can handle the featherweight snubbies, or who carry often but shoot little. But I can't deny the cool factor.

Ruger LCR
Great light-weight conceal/carry pistol! I bought this for my wife to carry when she got her CCW permit. It works well for her small hands especially with that nice hogue grip. The only minor drawback I have with this gun is also a benefit. Its weight. With the 38sp round I feel it moves a little too much to be able to keep or get back on target. Maybe I will get better with some more practice, but that just means more fun shooting.

A small but powerful pocket gun.
The Ruger LCR is an excellent concealed carry choice for men or women. It's small enough to carry in either a pocket or a purse, and by virtue of its polymer frame, it is light enough that it doesn't become a chore to lug it around all day. It is built tough enough to handle any 38 Special +P defense round, yet remain controllable. Its trigger is easy to pull through, being designed for those of diminutive stature, while retaining the built in safeties of a DAO revolver. It is a simple and reliable tool for self defense at an affordable price with a lifetime warranty. I bought one for my wife because it can be relied upon. It has helped to give me peace of mind when she is away from home.

Great little gun
I carry this every where I go it is great for concealed carry. A small revolver is not exactly my first choice for self defense. But since I got this I find myself carrying a lot more and not having to worry about about how to conceal it. It just goes right in my pocket.

Realistic concealed carry pistol
I have always been a semi auto guy, but had the need to buy a revolver and picked this one based on price and size. I couldn't believe how accurate it is, and how lightweight it is. My one and only complaint is that the Hogue grip interferes with speedloaders. Overall the most realistic concealed carry handgun for me to date!
