    I am a retired deputy Sheriff. I got my Bulldog when they first came out. It was off duty weapon an backup. It has a lot of rounds threw in. and proved it,s self for accuracy and relibaty. I trusty your gun with my life.

    Excellent CCW or personal defense gun!

    The Charter Arms Bulldog in .44 Special gives its owner the ability to put down any assault with the first round. .44 Special is an excellent defensive round that is more than capable of penetrating clothing and retaining the ft lbs of energy to dispatch a person. This Bulldog...as its name implies...is tough & reliable. Good fit & finish with a hand grip that feels secure & comfortable during firing.     If you are considering a wheel gun for concealed carry, the Bulldog Pug is a great option. It's lightweight, reliable, and powerful enough to stop the most aggresive foe. I had the hammer bobbed on mine by my gunsmith to make it more "pocket carry" friendly.
