What Is Low Blow Technology?
Low Blow is Q’s term for a flow-forward baffle design that vents propellant gases toward the muzzle rather than routing them back through the bolt carrier group. The practical result is less gas in the shooter’s face, less carbon deposited in the action, and a cleaner-running rifle over a sustained firing session. It also minimizes the first-round pop effect common to many suppressors. No Barrel Length Restrictions: What That Means
Most 5.56 suppressors specify a minimum barrel length — typically 10.3” or longer — to ensure adequate dwell time for reliable cycling. The Lefty’s internal geometry handles the gas volume from even short-barreled hosts without those restrictions, making it one of the few 5.56 suppressors rated for any barrel length. This makes the Lefty particularly well suited for SBR and pistol-configuration AR-15 hosts where barrel length is at a premium.
