Great shooter, questionable manufacturing
Brand new rifle fails to feed, chambering a round vertically on lever cycling. I've been told that this is a recurring problem with the 22lrs. Henry should just up the price and redesign or build the action/feeding tube with higher quality materials. Most people would rather have a functioning expensive rifle than a malfunctioning cheapo. I'm sure Henry customer service will fix the problem but it's still a pain. That being said, I managed to load single rounds at the range for testing and it shoots very accurately. A lot of fun. The iron sights were well configured out of factory as well. Would recommend but STRONGLY suggest you test your new rifle within the first week thoroughly.
