Fusion Freedom Reaction
The Fusion Freedom Reaction is a full-size, 5" barrel 1911 built on the same Colt Series 70 pattern as the rest of the Freedom Series, chambered in 45 ACP and 10mm. Alongside the standard configuration, Fusion offers dedicated Back the Blue and Firefighter Tribute editions with tribute-specific slide engravings for shooters who want to carry a pistol that reflects their profession or community. All Reaction models share the same all-steel, bar-stock-machined construction as the rest of the Freedom line.

What Is the Fusion Freedom Reaction?
The Reaction is Fusion's full-size, 5" barrel 1911, built on the Colt Series 70 pattern with the frame, slide, and barrel CNC machined from solid bar-stock. It shares the Freedom Series' core feature set - beavertail grip safety, Novak-compatible sights, and a tuned extractor - in a longer-sight-radius Government-length platform.
Standard Reaction: 10mm and 45 ACP
The base Reaction is available in 10mm for shooters who want extra power on a 1911 platform, and in 45 ACP for the traditional Government-frame 1911 experience, both with a 5" barrel and Cocobolo grips.
Back the Blue Edition
The Back the Blue Reaction is a 45 ACP, 5" barrel 1911 with a dedicated "Back the Blue" slide treatment, built for shooters who want to carry a pistol that reflects support for law enforcement.
Firefighter Tribute Edition
The Firefighter Tribute Reaction pairs the same 45 ACP, 5" barrel configuration with firefighter-specific tribute styling on the slide.
Build Quality Shared Across the Line
Every Reaction model, tribute editions included, uses the same all-steel construction as the rest of the Freedom Series - no castings, no 2-piece barrels - so the tribute slide treatments don't come at the cost of build quality.

45 ACP across the full line, with the standard (non-tribute) Reaction also available in 10mm.
Is the Reaction full-size or compact?
Full-size - it uses a 5" barrel and full Government-length frame, longer than the Riptide or Riptide Compact.
