The Garmin tactix 8 (51mm, AMOLED, Sapphire) is the larger-cased version of Garmin's tactical smartwatch, built around a titanium bezel and sapphire lens with a longer battery runtime than the 47mm model. It includes the same mission-oriented toolset as the rest of the tactix 8 lineup: the Applied Ballistics Ultralight solver, jumpmaster and rucking activity profiles, dual-position GPS format for viewing two coordinate systems at once, and a Stealth Mode that shuts off wireless communication and location sharing while still logging biometric data. A built-in multicolor flashlight and MIL-STD-810 durability round out a watch built for operators and serious tactical users.
