Who Makes Cold Steel Knives?

Cold Steel is a knife and tool company that makes folding knives, fixed blades, swords, axes, machetes and tomahawks. Its own site says it builds its products to be strong and sharp, and it describes the Tri-Ad lock as a design made with knife designer Andrew Demko. Cold Steel SRK and Fixed Blade Knives

The SRK is a 6-inch clip point fixed blade. The SK-5 version has a Kray-Ex handle and a Secure-Ex sheath. Cold Steel Recon 1 and Code 4 Folding Knives

The Recon 1 is a 4-inch folder with an American S35VN blade and a G10 handle. Clip point, spear point, tanto and part serrated versions are available, and the Micro Recon 1 has a 2-inch blade. Cold Steel Espada and Voyager Large Folders

The Espada comes as the Espada Large with a 5.5-inch blade and the Espada XL with a 7.5-inch blade, both on G10 handles with polished bolsters. The Voyager is offered as the Voyager Large at 4 inches and the Voyager XL at 5.5 inches in AUS-10A steel. The Spartan is a 4.5-inch folder with a steel-lined Griv-Ex handle.

Cold Steel Tuff Lite, Engage and Everyday Carry Folders

For lighter pocket carry, Cold Steel makes the Tuff Lite in 2.5-inch and Mini 2-inch sizes. The Engage has 2.5-inch and 3-inch blades, the Verdict has a 3-inch blade, and the Air Lite and Finn Wolf have 3.5-inch blades. The American Lawman and AD-10 add S35VN steel with G10 handles. The Gentleman's Stockman, Trapper and Trapper Mini are pocket knives with bone handles.

Cold Steel Machetes, Tomahawks and Throwing Knives

Cold Steel machetes include the Kukri, Latin, Barong, Bolo, Cutlass and Two Handed Machete, mostly in carbon steel with polypropylene handles and sheaths. Tomahawks include the Norse Hawk, Pipe Hawk and Trail Hawk on American hickory handles.
