The Armaspec Stealth Recoil Spring in the "H" (Heavy) weight is a self-contained, multi-stage drop-in buffer-and-spring assembly for AR-15 carbine-length buffer tubes — it replaces the standard buffer and action spring as a single unit. It's designed to keep the spring from rubbing the inside of the buffer tube, hold constant tension against the bolt carrier, and cushion buffer-to-tube contact with a rubber O-ring to reduce felt recoil and noise.
