The AGM PVS-14 3AW2 is a military-pattern Gen 3 night vision monocular built for surveillance, navigation, and low-light operation. It uses an auto-gated Gen 3 "Level 2" white phosphor (P45) image intensifier tube, which renders scenes in a black-and-white-like image with strong contrast for easier target and object recognition versus traditional green phosphor. It works handheld, on the included head harness, or weapon-mounted in front of a daytime optic, and meets MIL-STD-810G ruggedness standards.
