The frame and receiver are machined from solid steel or aluminum. The wood is genuine American walnut. This .45 caliber carbine features a 16 1/2" finned barrel, compensator and is available with a blued steel receiver or a lighter weight aluminum receiver. Not a practical weapon
If I had known how heavy this weapon really is and how hard it is to load, I would have stayed away. Money wasted at this point. Not worth buying and the return policy is not fair or friendly. I’m stuck with a boat weight. Stay away from this product. It doesn’t even come close to the original. By the time you load it, the fun of wanting to shoot it is gone. It’s up for sale at this point. PS to open the bolt just to load the drum, you have to use two hands and then try to flip up a small lever under the receiver in order to load it. It’s like a 35-45 pressure. You’ll be done after just the first time. Save your money! It looks better in the picture than in your hands.
