Old time shooting.
Just took mine to the range yesterday, and had a great time shooting it. Just like an old car it's got an old time feel, and is extremely accurate. I've always wanted one, and got it a couple weeks ago. It's got some punch for sure, it's the drum that sets it off. A little hard at first getting the ammo in, but it's got a lot of stability with that weight. Everyone who sees it likes it, and I bought the "violin" case with it, and two 30 round mags too. Just love shooting it.

a Correction
In my review of the 1927-a1 I said that we were shooting small oil drums off of the fantail, we were standing on the ship and the barrels were being towed behind in the sea. We also practiced with our 1918 B.A.R. Automatic rifles as members of the ships boarding party.

death rattler.!
I looked at the 1927 A-1 TA5 in the kahr Booth at the N.R.A Show in INDIANAPOLIS THIS past Summer A fine copy of the American classic. I served in the U.S.Navy from 1965 to 1971 and we trained with our 1927 A-1 Thompson submachine guns by shooting small oil drums off of the ships fantail. This little gun is lighter than our issue models, however it feels like an old friend to me. i ordered mine from Impact Guns and will enjoy using this fine machine.
