Just what I was looking for
I was looking for something more concealable than my Glock and in .40 S&W. This sidearm was the perfect find. I'm still in the break-in period, and have just over 100 rounds though it, but so far, so good. Haven't had any problems with operations. Nice, smooth trigger with a crips release. Has filled the role I was looking for quite well.

Five Years 3000 Rounds
Purchased the Kahr P40 in 2007 after being given a set of 40S&W dies. One of the Best firearm purchases I have ever made. It has been my daily companion ever since. Living and working on a ranch has afforded me the opportunity to experiment with various loads and perfect a good shooting relationship with the P40. I estimate I have fired some 3000 rounds though it, with nary a hiccup. Great reliability, Super accuracy, Effortless portability, Terrific durability! All things one should expect from a often fired daily carry. IMO the Kahr P40 scores Big in all these areas. Found this site while searching for P40 current value for insurance purposes and for a replacement front sight for a damaged one.
