i bought this gun because of the price point and its a sig. i am still very pleased with it and have yet to have a malfunction what so ever in probably a thousand rounds. the only thing i dont like is my wife has taken to it and its pretty well hers as of late. i will miss it but still use it on occasion.

One of the best handguns for the price spent... build quality is very good, solidly built (thicker and longer slide rails than a glock etc), reliability of a sig but costing noticeably less than a 229 or 226 and it's very accurate as well. If you are looking for a good quality DA/SA the SP2022 should be at the top of the list IMHO. The only downside I can see finding a certain types of holsters at my local gun store for this particular model Sig.

Recently purchased and love the action and accuracy. Mag spring is tight but I'm sure it will loosen with use. Bought the european model with the manual safety and find this feature a plus, especially only recently finished 2 days of gun training at the Sig academy in Exeter New Hampshire.
A great value and the sales and training staff at Sig at Exeter, N. H. are great.

Although I did not buy this from Impact, I will say that this gun is fantastic. The feel is just like any other sig, and the quality is right on. I haven't had one ftf or fte after about 1000 rounds. For a $400 handgun, this can't be passed up.

The gun felt great out of the box nice and solid feel to it. The first clip i put in it it jammed on the second round but after hat the mag spring loosened up and was fine after that. We put 300 rounds though it and no malfunctions and had about 4 inch groupings from 15 yards (it probably could be better but I'm not the best with handguns). All in all a solid gun for the money. I'll definitely be getting more firearms from sig in the future.

For the price this is a decent gun. I have a mag that holds 10 rounds. When all 10 rounds are in the mag(Sig Manf) the first one will jam. It appears that when the mag is fully loaded and the spring is fully compressed it applies too much pressure and will load the next new round before it has time to eject the previous. I've found that only loading 9 rounds in the mag will prevent jams. The breakdown on this gun is a little odd. When putting the gun back together you have to have the magazine inserted or else the slide will go too far back and get stuck. If the mag isn't inserted the slide pin won't line up properly. If the mag is in the slide pin won't snap in all the way. The last step is to remove the mag so that the slide pin will seat down properly. Other than these two design flaws its a fairly accurate gun. I suppose if you wanted a better gun you can pay more but for the price its decent.

This gun is great for someone who does not want to break the bank for a handgun. For example I have fired over 1.5k rounds through mine without any malfunctions (ftf fte etc) of any kind. Also the accuracy is great right out of the box, this one will stay in the collection for good.
