The P210 counters with tighter manufacturing tolerances, the inside-the-rail accuracy system, and the legendary Swiss precision heritage. For competitions that allow higher-capacity DA/SA pistols, the Shadow 2 offers more tactical flexibility. For precision slow-fire and shooters committed to SAO, the P210’s accuracy potential is marginally superior. Both are exceptional — the choice comes down to trigger preference and intended use.

P210 Magazines and Practical Considerations

The P210 uses a single-stack 8+1 magazine — a deliberate design choice that keeps the grip slim and contributes to the pistol’s exceptional hand-fit and control. The slim grip is one of the P210’s most appreciated ergonomic features. Magazines are proprietary SIG P210 pattern and are not widely available at general sporting goods stores — order extras when purchasing the pistol.
