very good gun
This is a great little gun. I have had mine for 10 years now. It is very accurate, very light and fun to shoot. It does have feeding problems with all brands EXCEPT Remington ammunition. Mine works just fine with remington ammo. As long as you clean it after every 500 rounds or 1000 rounds you will be good to go.

Lite Weight Powerhouse
As I've gotten older I wanted a small game rifle that's not so heavy, but with good accuracy. I've used a couple from friends but not what I was looking for. I also wanted to find something for my young grandson. I did a little research and decided to try the Savage 64F. I first took it to the shooting range to get a feel for it...this would be the place to decide. Boy, was I pleasantly supprise. This rifle is nice and lite (I though it would be a lot of recoil, even with a 22LR) and with very little recoil and extremely accurate. If you are looking for a small game rifle that's very accurate, the Savage 64F is your gun. It sports a 10-round ammo clip that's easy to pop in and pop out. The only negative is, you'll have to mount your own shoulder strap brackets...if you want one.
