The trigger is a crisp single action with an over-travel stop. The manual safety is a thumb activated ambidextrous safety lever (up for SAFE, down for FIRE). The slide locks back after the last shot and a manual slide lock lever is also provided. The light, crisp trigger pull and fiber optic sights make the PMR-30 ideal for target shooting and hunting small game.
STRONG, LIGHT WEIGHT CONSTRUCTION The Kel-Tec PMR-30 weighs only 13.5 oz. empty. It's slide and barrel are 4140 steel and frame is precistion machined from 7075 aluminum. The PMR-30 grip, slide cover, trigger, mag release, and safety levers are glass reinforced nylon (Zytel), much like other Kel-Tec Pistols. Dual opposing extractors improve reliability, heel magazine release aids with magazine retention, dovetailed aluminum front sight allows easy windage adjustment. The PMR-30 disassembles for cleaning by removal of a single pin.
LOW RECOIL, RAPID FOLLOWUP SHOTS
PMR-30 uses a unique hybrid blowback/locked-breech system that seamlessly adjusts to fit the pressure of the cartridge. Recoil buffer and dual captive co-axial recoil springs combined with the crisp, short-reset trigger allow high rate of aimed fire. The barrel is fluted for light weight and effective heate disssipation. A picatinny rail is provided for mounting lights and lasers.

Bought new and fired approximatley 450 rounds using CCI Mini-Mags at 40 grain No problems at all. Nice gun, light and quite accurate. I checked with Keltec to see if mine had the newer barrel which it has. The older versions had a issue with tumbling because of the barrel twist but ammo feeding has not been an issue. The gun is easy to clean and disassemble. Very good weapon.

Now I love it
When I first got my PMR-30, it had horrible problems ejecting, feeding, etc. I sent it back to the factory, and 3 weeks later I had it back with a new barrel. Now it works perfectly. It is very accurate, and I love the high capacity magazine. No problems at all now after 300 rnds or so. I had some trouble finding a holster that wasn't too big, and have settled on a Uncle Mikes size 5. Easy takedown for cleaning [which is a must with any .22 caliber gun], and light weight makes it a good choice for hiking in the woods.

Just one thing about the Ammo its not .22 cheap
If I could buy this gun I would in a heartbeat! What a truly cool design I love Kel-Tec. One point though I am new to the shooting for fun game. I was givin a .22 win Mag rile I thought great I will buy a brick of .22 ammo and be shooting. Opps turns out .22WMR cost a lot more. I paid $12 for a box of 100 local at first than I paid $8. online and bought in bulk. But next to regular .22 Long Rifle this ammo is much more. O.K. that is my stupid newbie comment for other newbies. Enjoy your sport!

Kel Tec PMR 30
I love my PMR 30, however, it fails to load and fails to eject regularly, even after 500 rounds. It is a ball to shoot and very accurate. You have to be ready to clear it all the time though. I have tried 7 different brands of ammo. Some cycle much better than others.

Great gun
If your looking for a reliable 22 look no further, not only is this gun accurate, you dont have to go through the hassle of constantly reloading it especially when target shooting.

Great shooter
This is a great pistol to go out to the range with gives a fun day of shooting and keeps it affordable. Very accurate and also a great home defense weapon. Oh the price is fantastic.

Fun to shoot
The KEL 22 WMR with the 30 round mag is a great all around pistol. It is very lightweight but has the ability to hold tight groups. This is a great home defense weapon with plenty of fire power if needed. The ammunition cost is reasonable which makes it ideal for the range. Great shooter with only a few failure to feed problems but the manufacturer will make the repairs and have it back in your hands in about 3-4 days. Worth every dollar.
