The recoil comes after you fire and doesn't hurt accuracy only target reacquisition. If your accuracy was effected it is because you were frightened by the gun amd anticipated the recoil before you fired. This is the most accurate glock available and recoil is less than .40s&w. But, more muzzle flash and flip. Odd you would review a weapon you merely fired once, especially given your lack of knowledge.
