What Makes the VR80 Different?
Most semi-automatic shotguns use a fixed or detachable tube magazine. The VR80 uses a detachable box magazine — you load it like an AR-15, dropping a 5-round magazine into the magwell and hitting the bolt release. This makes reloads faster than any tube-fed shotgun, and larger capacity magazines (9-round and above) are available for extended range sessions or competition use. The AR-style layout also means your existing AR-15 muscle memory transfers directly to the VR80.
VR80 Specs and Features
The VR80 is a gas-operated semi-automatic 12 gauge with a 20" barrel, overall length of 38.5", and a weight of approximately 8.5 lbs. It ships with a 5-round magazine and features a full-length Picatinny rail for optics, M-LOK compatible handguard for accessories, adjustable pistol grip stock, and a flared magwell. The finish is matte black with a polymer stock and grip.

Ammunition Compatibility
The VR80 is designed for 2¾" and 3" 12 gauge loads. It runs best with standard velocity target and hunting loads — 1,200 fps and above. Very light target loads (sub-1,100 fps) may not cycle reliably due to insufficient gas pressure. Standard buckshot and slugs run without issues.
